neva-nude-back-to-baesics-petal-pasties-chocolate
Neva Nude Back to Baesics Petal Pasties Chocolate

The Back to Baesics pasties are quiet on purpose. They're petal-shaped, warm brown, and meant to give you light coverage with no fuss. Neva Nude calls this color Chocolate, and the name fits. If you want something that stays out of your outfit's way, this is the sort of pair that does it.

Each pack has 2 Nipztix pasties, and they go on by sticking directly to your skin. The adhesive is a hypoallergenic, latex-free, medical-grade type, and the pasties are cut from swimsuit-style material that Neva Nude says is locally sourced in Santa Monica. They're waterproof, so you can wear them to the pool or under a swimsuit top, or in place of one. They're made to last 10 to 12 hours, which covers a long night out.

They're also handmade in California, which means every pair is a little different and may vary slightly from the image. The brand pitches them for raves, parties, festivals and fashion emergencies, and for the date night where you're wearing a dress that doesn't allow for a bra. Put them on, check the mirror, and forget about them. They're a basic, and they do their job without comment.

If you've worn tape or stick-on cups before, you'll notice the difference. Swimsuit-style fabric moves with your skin, so it doesn't crinkle or lift at the edges the way a stiff pasty can. The petal shape keeps the line smooth under a thin top, and the color is easy to match to a warmer skin tone. Pair them with a backless dress, a halter top, or a bikini bottom for a pool day, and the set is done. Neva Nude's own line for this collection is minimalist, and these are a good example.

Key Features:
- Petal Shape – a simple, minimal cover
- Chocolate Color – a warm brown
- Medical-Grade Adhesive – hypoallergenic and latex free
- Waterproof – fine for the pool
- 10 to 12 Hours – the stated wear time
- Handmade in California – each pair may vary slightly

Materials: Nylon swimsuit-style material with a hypoallergenic, latex-free, medical-grade adhesive. The color is a warm brown, so think about your own skin tone and what you'll wear over them. A pair that is close to your skin will disappear under clothing, while a contrasting color will show through thin fabric. If you aren't sure, hold a similar brown cloth against your skin in daylight to see how it reads. Because these are handmade, small differences from the photo are normal.

Care

Adhesive pasties do best on clean, dry skin with no oil, lotion or sunscreen on it. Press each one on from the center outward and smooth the edges. If your skin is sensitive, try one on your forearm first and wait to see how it reacts. To remove, peel slowly while holding your skin, and use warm water if the adhesive holds on. Store them flat, away from heat and dust.

How we ship it

Your order arrives in discreet packaging with no logos or product names anywhere on it.
