Dreamgirl Rhinestone Fishnet Chemise, Asymmetrical Hem

Start with the hem, because it's what makes this chemise different. It's asymmetrical, so one side drops lower than the other, and the whole thing is fishnet with rhinestones set into it. On its own it reads as a short chemise. Put it on over a thong, which isn't included, and it does its job as lingerie. The shoulder straps are adjustable, so you can set the length before you look in the mirror.

Then there's the trick: it may also be worn as a skirt. Pull it up and fasten it at the waist instead, and the same fishnet and rhinestones turn into something you could wear out. We'd read that as a bonus rather than a promise, since the stretch and the fit will decide how well it works for you. Try it at home first.

Picking your size

The XL numbers above are the ones we have, so measure yourself against them. Wrap a soft tape around the fullest part of your chest for the bust, around your natural waist, and around the fullest part of your hips. Hold the tape flat to your body with no slack and no pull. If your numbers sit between L and XL, think about which way you want to be wrong: a looser fit hangs more, a tighter fit stretches the fishnet and shows off the rhinestones.

Because the straps adjust, the length through the torso is easier to fix than the width. Choose by hips and bust first.

Wearing it as a skirt

If you plan to use it as a skirt, check where the rise falls on you. The rise number we have is 8.5 to 9 in. Hold it up to your waist before you commit, and add a layer underneath so the fishnet isn't doing all the work.

Care

Check the care label first. If you're not sure, wash by hand in cold water with a mild detergent and lay it flat to dry. Rhinestones don't like heat, tumbling or scrubbing, so skip the dryer and don't wring it out. Keep it away from velcro, zippers and rough jewelry, which can snag fishnet.

How we ship it

The chemise is packed in a plain, unmarked box. There are no labels or logos outside that say what it is.
