Dreamgirl Stretch Lace Teddy and Garter Belt Harness Set

This is two pieces, and you'll want to lay both out before you start. The teddy is stretch lace with triangle soft cups and a plunging neckline. The harness is a separate elastic piece with rhinestone ring details and garters already attached. Put the teddy on first, then add the harness over it, and you get a layered look that Dreamgirl calls Peacock.

The teddy does most of the fitting work for you. Clear elastic supports the cups, the straps adjust, and the back ties closed, so you set how snug it feels. The back is open, with adjustable hip straps and a G-string back, which means the shape comes from the straps and ties, not from a rigid frame. That's why one size can cover so many measurements.

The harness fastens at the neck with hook and loop, and the waist elastic adjusts. The garters are attached, so all that's left is to clip them to stockings. Dreamgirl shows the set with its own thigh-highs, but those are sold separately, and no accessories are included.

Picking your fit

With one size, the numbers to check are bust, waist, hips and rise. Measure your torso from shoulder to crotch and compare it with the 9 to 9.5 in. rise, since that's how the teddy is cut vertically. If you're near the top of the ranges, decide if you want it snug or relaxed, because the straps and ties let you go either way. The listed cup is D/DD, so a smaller or larger cup will need extra adjusting.

Putting it on

Do the teddy first. Set the cups, adjust the straps, then tie the back. Place the harness next, close the neck fastening and adjust the waist elastic. Last, clip the garters to your stockings and check that the clips lie flat against the thigh. A mirror helps, and so does a partner for the tie-back closures. Take care that hair, clasps and jewelry don't catch on the lace or the rhinestone rings.

Care

Start with the tag on the garment. When in doubt, hand wash stretch lace in cool water with mild detergent, don't wring it, skip the heat and dry flat. Fasten any hooks before washing so they don't snag the lace, and store the pieces folded or hung loosely.

Planning the order

Dress in a set order and it goes smoothly: teddy, then harness neck and waist, then garters. Settle the two fastening points on the harness before you fine-tune anything else. Mirrors and good light make adjusting much easier, and the set is happiest when you're not hurrying.
