Fantasy Lingerie Edge Quilted Wetlook Longline Bra Set

Wetlook and quilting are a firm pairing, and Edge leans into it. The set is a longline underwire bra and a strappy, adjustable G-string. The bra's quilted wetlook panels extend down the ribcage with mesh sections worked in, and the longline cut means it covers more of the torso than a standard bra. It's the kind of set you want to try on before you commit.

Getting into it takes a minute. Slip the straps on, fasten the back, then lean forward slightly and settle your bust into the cups. Adjust the straps so the underwire lies flat against your ribcage. The G-string is more forgiving, since the side straps adjust to find a comfortable height.

The wetlook is 100% polyurethane, and the mesh is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. Polyurethane gives less than a knit, so a size that's too small will feel rigid and press at the edges. We carry M/L and L/XL.

Picking your size

Measure your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest and your hips at the widest, using a soft tape held level. A longline bra sits lower, so also measure around your ribcage just under the bust. That's where the lower band sits. Underwire cups keep their shape and won't stretch for a larger bust, so make sure your cup volume lands in the C/D range for the M/L. If you're between sizes, think about which is easier to wear for an evening. The G-string will adapt, but the bra won't.

The break-in

Coated fabrics are less forgiving than knits, so spend a few minutes in the set at home first. Sit, raise your arms and bend forward, and check that the underwire isn't pressing a tender spot. If anything rubs, loosen the straps or shift the band slightly. A short wear at home helps the edges soften up before the real night.

Care

Follow the label. Wetlook polyurethane is usually wiped with a damp cloth and air dried, and kept away from heat and harsh chemicals. The mesh can be hand washed gently in cool water with mild detergent. Skip the dryer and the iron, which damage the coating. Store flat or hung loosely, and avoid folding sharp creases into the quilting.

Pairing it

The longline bra does the talking in this set, so keep the rest of the outfit quiet. A high-waisted skirt or open shirt over the top works, and the quilting shows best when the bra isn't buried. If the evening is long, a quick adjustment of the G-string straps is easy to do.
