Size: S/M

Supernatural is a glow-in-the-dark teddy, and you'll want the lights off to see it. It's a plunge style with a zipper, and the halter ties give you control over how it sits at the neck. Pull the ties up or loosen them and the neckline changes. The glow is part of the Glow collection and it needs light first, so give it a few minutes near a lamp before the room goes dark.

The fabric is 95% nylon and 5% spandex, with enough stretch to move in. The zipper is a design detail as well as a way into the teddy. Zip it as far as you like, or leave it low. The plunge is already deep, so the zipper decides how much of that you show.

We sell it in S/M, M/L and L/XL. For S/M, the measurements are cup B/C, bust 34 to 36 in, waist 26 to 28 in and hips 36 to 38 in. The other sizes step up from there. Check your own numbers and read the section below if you need help measuring.

Getting the size right

Measure your bust at the fullest part of your chest, your waist at the narrowest part of your torso and your hips at the fullest part, usually about eight inches below the waist. Pull it just snug, no tighter, with the tape sitting level.

With a plunge style, the bust and torso length matter most. Long torsos should size up. The halter ties adjust the neckline but they don't add length.

Making the glow work

Glow-in-the-dark fabric charges in light and fades over time. Expose it to a bright lamp for a few minutes before you turn the room dark. A plain, dark background helps the glow show. The effect is strongest at the start and fades as the evening goes on, so plan around that.

Care

Check the label first. If you're not sure, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, press the water out without wringing and lay it flat to dry. Zip the zipper before you wash so it doesn't catch the fabric. Avoid harsh detergents and bleach, which can dull a glow finish. Skip the dryer.

Planning the night

A glow-in-the-dark piece is as much about the setting as the fit. Decide where you want to be seen in it before you pick what goes over it. A dark room, a lamp turned off at the right moment, a hallway at the end of the evening: all of those work better than a brightly lit space.

Keep the plunge in mind when you dress for the walk there. A zipper that runs low is easy to cover with a jacket and easy to open later.

How we ship it

We pack the teddy in a plain, unmarked box with no product names on it, so it looks like any other delivery.
