Fantasy Lingerie Opulence Split Pearl Cup Open-Back Teddy – Metallic Foil Lace

This teddy trades full coverage for decoration. The cups are made of split pearl strings, the back is a cut-out, and the crotch is a pearl string too, all in metallic foil lace. The design is more of a decorative frame than a full cover.

That makes it a good choice for low-backed styles or a simple robe worn over the top. Think about how you will wear it before you buy, and plan any layers in advance. Because it is a one-piece garment, torso length matters: if the chart does not give a shoulder-to-crotch figure, measure from your shoulder, down the front of your body, through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder, and compare. A teddy that is too short pulls on the straps and the seams.

It is made from 90% nylon and 10% spandex, and it comes in S/M, M/L, L/XL and Queen. The M/L chart is cup C/D, bust 36 to 38 in., waist 28 to 31 in. and hips 38 to 40 in. With 10% spandex, there is a reasonable amount of stretch.

Choosing and Using

Measure before you order. Use a soft tape and take the bust around the fullest part, the waist at the narrowest part and the hips at the widest, holding the tape level and snug but not tight. Compare each number with the chart for the size you are considering. If your numbers land in different sizes, go by the larger one, because a garment that is too small shows more than one that is a touch roomy.

Stretch helps but has limits. Spandex gives a little, and fabrics such as leatherette or wetlook give less than a plain knit. For anything made as one piece, torso length matters too, so measure from your shoulder, down through the crotch and back up to the same shoulder if you can.

It also helps to think about the occasion before you choose a size. Pieces meant for a close fit look their best when they match your measurements, and pieces with ties or lace-ups give more room to adjust. Dressing in front of a mirror makes straps and fastenings much easier to set. Keep a spare layer nearby if you are wearing it somewhere cooler than your home.

Care

Check the care label when the piece arrives. As a general rule, delicate lace, mesh, net and decorated garments last longest when they are washed by hand in cool water with a mild detergent, kept away from bleach, and dried flat or hung to air dry.

Dress with clean hands, short nails and no rings, since sharp edges snag fine fabric. Store the piece folded flat or in a drawer instead of hanging it by the straps, which can stretch them over time.

If a detail you need is not listed above, ask our team before you order. We would rather confirm a measurement or a feature for you than have you guess, and we are happy to help you compare options in the same range.
