That's the stated figure, and sweat, water, heat and friction can shorten it, so apply them early if you plan to dance, swim or sweat, and give them a few minutes to settle. Applying them

Clean your skin and let it dry fully, with no lotion, oil or shimmer in the area. Peel one pastie from its backing and hold it by the edges. Press from the center outward, smoothing the edges. Hold for a few seconds so the adhesive warms and bonds. The adhesive is called hypoallergenic, but any adhesive can irritate some skin, so try a small test patch somewhere else first, especially if your skin is sensitive.

Taking them off

Do this in the shower or after a warm washcloth if you can, since warmth and moisture soften the bond. Peel slowly from one edge while holding the skin taut with your other hand. If one resists, a little warm water or oil-free soap helps loosen it. Don't rush and don't yank.

Care

Keep the backing and any spare pair flat and dry, away from heat. Lint and dust will weaken the adhesive, so put them back on the sheet if you can.
