The size choice is simple. Small is 3 inches across and fits A to C cups. Large is 4 inches across and fits D and up. Picking your size and shade

Cup size is the easy guide. If you wear an A, B or C, take the Small. If you wear a D or larger, take the Large. Measure the area you want to cover if you're unsure: Small covers about 3 inches across and Large about 4.

For shade, hold a nude tone against the inside of your forearm in daylight to see which is the closest. The lace-print nude and the neon pink are for when you'd rather be seen. Onyx black is flat and matches dark outfits.

Putting them on

Start with clean, dry skin and no lotion, oil or heavy sunscreen on the area. Press the cover on from the centre outward so no air gets trapped. Give it a few seconds to settle before you dress.

Care

Rinse them gently with lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap, then let them air dry. Put them back in the case and away from lint, hair and dust. Don't scrub or use harsh cleaners. The grip comes from the surface, so keep it clean and you'll get more wears.

Outfits it suits

The covers do their best work under things that don't allow a bra: a backless dress, a strapless gown, a sheer top or something tight. They're also useful when a bra strap would show at the gym or a wedding.

Heat and humidity don't bother them, so a beach wedding or a yoga class is fine. Keep the case in your bag in case you need to take them off during the day.

Travel
