Pastease Halos Reusable Silicone Nipple Covers Floral Nude

Halos are the floral nude version of Pastease's silicone breast covers, and the idea is to get rid of the bra. They're lightweight, supportive and strapless, so you can wear them with a backless, strapless or sheer outfit. The silicone is medical grade, thin and matte, with no lines or reflections. Under a fitted top they look like nothing at all.

There are two sizes. Small is 3 inches across for A to C cups, and Large is 4 inches across for D and up. The range includes three nude tones, a lace-print nude and a neon pink called Fuchsia, which glows in the dark. This page is the floral nude. Choose your size on the product page.

Which size

Go by cup size. A, B or C cups take the Small. D cups and larger take the Large. If you're on the line, think about how much coverage you want: the Large gives you one extra inch of width.

Getting a good hold

Wash and dry the skin. Skip lotion, oil and heavy sunscreen, which stop silicone from sticking. Press each cover on from the centre outward and check that there are no creases. Wait a few seconds before getting dressed.

If your skin is sensitive, test a small patch first. Take them off slowly, and stop if you notice irritation.

Care

Rinse them with lukewarm water and a little mild soap, then let them air dry. Store them in the case. The surface needs to stay clean to keep its grip, so keep it away from lint and hair. Don't scrub.

Why go strapless

Straps and bands show through thin tops, dig in on a hot day and shift as you dance. Silicone covers have none of those. The thin, matte surface sits flat, so even a fitted top shows no lines.

Because they're waterproof and resist heat and humidity, you can keep them on through a day of walking, a wedding or a workout.
