Pastease Plus X Liquid Red Cross Pasties

Shiny, red and a little severe: the Pastease Plus X Liquid Red Cross Pasties are about as direct as pasties get. The material is a smooth, glossy pleather, hand-made in the USA, and it forms to your curves and resists wrinkling over hardening nipples. The shape is a plus sign crossed with an X, so you get eight points around the middle.
The size numbers tell you what you're getting. The pastie is 3 in. by 3 in. overall, but the part that actually covers you is a circle 1.5 in. across. The arms of the cross reach well past that circle, so the look is graphic and the real coverage is small. If you want to cover as much as possible, this isn't the pair. If you like a clean, sleek shape that can sit under lingerie or over it, it's a good one.
The adhesive is latex-free, medical-grade and waterproof, and it stays secure until you gently remove it. Peel and stick on clean, dry skin with no lotion, oil or powder underneath. Centre the 1.5 in. circle over your nipple, press from the middle out to the arms of the cross, and smooth each point so it lies flat.

Choosing between graphic and full coverage
Think about what you want the pasties to do. Pleather has a shine, so it catches light and draws the eye, which suits stage looks, photo shoots and costume nights. A pair this small is also easier to hide under a bodysuit or a sheer top than something with a big outline. If you want to be covered from every angle, look at our larger pasties. If you want to make a statement with minimal material, this does it.
Care
Glossy materials show smudges, so wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Don't put lotion or oil on the front, since it can dull the shine and transfer to your clothes. To remove, peel slowly from one arm of the cross, keeping the skin flat. If you have sensitive skin, test a small area first. Keep spare pairs flat and cool.
One more practical point. Because the arms of the cross are wider than the centre circle, the edges are the part most likely to catch on clothing, so run a fingertip around each arm after you press it on. Wear them in front of a mirror first, with the top you plan to put over them, and check the outline. Spend a few minutes getting the placement right at home, and you won't have to fix it at a bar. Keep a spare pair, since glossy pleather shows a lifted edge more than a matte cover does.
