Gag safety

Agree on a signal that doesn't need words, such as dropping an object or a hand squeeze, before the gag goes in. Never leave a gagged person alone. Watch their breathing, and take the gag out right away if they signal or if they seem unwell.

Don't use a gag if you have a cold, a blocked nose or trouble breathing. Stop if there's pain in the jaw.

Fitting the strap

Put the bone in place, bring the strap around the back of the head and fasten the buckle. You should be able to slip a finger under the strap. If it's too loose, it will slide. If it's too tight, it will pinch. Adjust until you can wear it comfortably.

Care
