Prowler RED Large Bulb Douche

This is the old-fashioned way, and it works. The Prowler RED Large Bulb Douche is a classic squeeze-bulb douche in black, with a PVC bulb and an ABS plastic nozzle. The large size holds 220 ml, and the base of the bulb is flat, so it stands up on its own when you need to put it down.

Filling it is simple: take the nozzle off and hold the bulb under running water. Put the nozzle back on, and it's ready. There's no hose, no pump and no extra parts, which makes it easy to use and easy to clean. The nozzle has an insertable length of 5.5 cm, so it's a short one.

The line also comes in small and medium, all in black. We carry the large here, and the capacity is the main difference. If you're not sure which size you want, think about how much water you're comfortable with.

Picking your size

Capacity is the only difference between the sizes in this line. Large holds 220 ml. If you want a smaller volume, look at the small or medium. Bigger isn't automatically better, and most people prefer to start with less and work up.

Using it

Use lukewarm water, never hot. Lube the nozzle, go slowly and don't force anything. If something hurts, stop. Don't overdo it. A douche is something to use occasionally, and if you have any medical concerns, ask your doctor first. Give yourself time and a private space, and keep a towel handy.

Care

Clean it every time. Remove the nozzle, rinse the bulb and nozzle with warm water and a little mild soap, squeeze water through the bulb and rinse until the soap is gone. Shake out the water and let both pieces air dry fully before you put them back together. Store it somewhere dry. PVC and ABS are both easy to wipe down, and the flat base lets you leave the bulb standing upright to drain.

Small, medium or large

The line comes in three sizes in black. The shape is the same, and the volume is what changes. Since this one is the large, you'll want to be sure you want 220 ml before you commit. If you've never used a bulb douche, a smaller one is an easier first step, and you can always come back to the large.

Fill it under running water with the nozzle off, then replace the nozzle and check that it's snug. Squeeze gently and take it slowly. If you're uncomfortable at any point, stop and rest.
