Size: S/M

A leather collar changes how a scene starts. Put it on and you feel the weight and the snug band at the neck. This one is leather with multiple rings attached, and the rings are the point. Clip a lead to one, run a rope through another, or use them as anchor points for whatever you have in mind.

It comes in two sizes, S/M for necks of 14 to 16 inches and L/XL for necks of 17 to 19 inches. A collar should sit snug but never tight. You want to be able to slide a finger or two underneath, and you want it to stay put when you move. The Prowler RED range is aimed at bondage and kink, and the collar is one of its basics.

Leather gets better with wear. It softens and starts to mold to the neck. Treat it well, and it'll last. It's a simple piece, with the rings doing the work and the leather doing the rest.

Measuring your neck

Wrap a soft tape measure around the base of your neck, where a collar would sit, and leave enough room to slip a finger under it. If you land on the line between the two sizes, pick the larger one for comfort. Remember that leather has little stretch, so a collar that's too small will be hard to wear.

Check with your partner if you're buying for someone else. Guessing a neck size is harder than it looks.

Safe use

A collar can restrict breathing if it's too tight or if tension is put on the rings. Check the fit often, and never pull a lead hard against the neck. Agree on limits and a stop word first, and never leave a collared person tied up alone.

Care

Wipe leather with a damp cloth and let it dry in the open, away from direct heat. A leather conditioner a few times a year keeps it from drying out. Don't soak it. Store it flat or hung, in a dust bag if you have one.

What a collar means

In some relationships a collar is a ritual item, and in others it's just a good-looking piece of kit. Talk about which it is before you give one as a gift or put one on a partner. The rings make it useful either way.

Consider where you'll wear it. A collar like this is a bondage item, and it reads as one. Keep it for private play or the right event.

How we ship it

The collar goes out in a plain, unmarked box. The packaging gives no clue about what's inside.
