Size: S/M

The buckle locks, and that's the point of this collar. The Prowler RED Leather Lockable Collar is a plush, high quality leather collar with a lockable buckle and D-rings, made for dominant and submissive play. Once it's on and locked, the wearer stays in it until you decide otherwise. Prowler RED's way of putting it is that every submissive will have to be on their best behavior to taste freedom.

The D-rings are practical. Use them to attach bondage accessories, a leash or a lead, and the collar becomes the anchor for the rest of the scene. The leather is plush and built to last for all sorts of play, so it can take pulling and wear.

Fit is the thing to get right with a collar. It comes in S/M for necks of 14 to 16 in. and L/XL for 17 to 19 in. The product text doesn't mention a padlock, so don't assume one is in the box. If you need one, plan to have your own ready.

Picking your size

Measure the neck with a soft tape at the spot where the collar will sit, then add a little so it's snug but not tight. A good rule is that you should be able to slip two fingers between the collar and the neck. If your measurement falls at the edge of a range, say 16 in., think about the other uses. A collar that's slightly roomy is safer than one that's too tight, and it's worth erring on that side.

Safety

A locked collar is a serious piece of gear. Agree on limits and a stop word before you start, check the fit regularly, and keep the key where you can find it in a hurry. Never leave someone locked in a collar unattended, and take it off at once if breathing is affected or the wearer feels dizzy. Never attach a leash or a restraint in a way that puts weight on the neck unless you both understand the risks.

Care

Leather likes to be dry. After wearing, wipe it over with a barely damp cloth, dry it away from any heater and keep it flat or on a hanger. Condition it lightly now and then to keep the leather supple. Oil-based products and direct sun are both hard on leather.

Using the D-rings

The D-rings are where accessories connect. A leash, a lead or a restraint clips to them, and the collar becomes the anchor point for the rest of your gear. Check that every clip is closed and the ring is seated before any weight goes on it, and start with gentle tension. A collar is for the neck, not for hauling, and slow is safer than sharp.

For a first-time wearer, try the collar on before the scene, unlocked, so there are no surprises. Let them move, swallow, turn their head and talk, and adjust the fit until they're comfortable.

How we ship it

We send the collar in an unmarked, plain box. The buckle and D-rings keep quiet until you open it.
