Neoprene generally stretches enough to suit a range of head sizes, but a hood that stretches too far can feel tight over the ears and the jaw. Aftercare matters to many people, so plan a few quiet minutes after a scene for a drink, a cuddle or just a talk.

Care

Leather is strong and lasts longer with a little care. Keep it dry, wipe it with a clean, slightly damp cloth after use, and let it dry naturally away from heat. A leather conditioner now and then keeps it supple.

Store it flat or hung in a cool, dry place, and keep it out of direct sun. Metal parts can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and dried. Check stitching, buckles and rings before each session, and retire anything that looks worn.
