This blindfold takes all the light away. The Prowler RED Silicone Full Blindfold is full coverage, made from smooth, body-safe silicone, and it seals out light completely. Put it on and the room disappears. What's left is sound, touch and the person you've decided to trust, and each of those gets louder when sight is gone.

That's the idea behind sensory play: take one sense away and the rest sharpen. Touch feels sharper, slower and more intense, because you can't see it coming. If you're wearing it, expect to notice small things more, like a change in pressure or the sound of someone moving. If you're the one holding the toys, use that. Vary the touch, change the temperature, and give the wearer time between sensations.

Silicone is a different feel from the usual satin or leather blindfold. It's smooth, it wipes clean, and silicone isn't porous. We can't see the photos from here, and the details we have don't give a size, a strap style or a color, so check the page for those. We carry the Prowler RED line, and the blindfold goes with most of the other gear in it, from cuffs to feathers. If you've never played with sensory deprivation, a full blindfold is the simplest way to start. You don't need anything else for the first session, just a partner you trust and a few things to touch with, like a feather, a cool glass, or just your hands. Keep the room quiet and warm, and let the wearer lean into it at their own pace.

Using it

Agree on limits and a signal before it goes on. Tell the wearer what's about to happen, and then let them be surprised by the details. Start with light touches, and watch for any tension. Being blind makes some people nervous, so go slowly and be ready to take it off. A hand on the shoulder tells them you're there.

Fitting it

Settle the blindfold across the eyes and check that it blocks the light. If you can see around the edges, adjust it. It should be snug without pressing on the eyes. Keep hair out of the way so it doesn't get caught. If you wear glasses, take them off first.

Taking it off

Give the wearer a moment before the blindfold comes off, and lift it slowly so their eyes can adjust. Bright light after full darkness can be a shock. Check in about how it felt, and what they'd like more or less of next time.

Care

Silicone is easy to clean. Wash it with warm water and mild soap, rinse well and dry with a soft cloth. Keep it away from other silicone and from sharp objects. Store it in a clean place, flat, out of direct sun.

How we ship it

The blindfold ships in a plain, unmarked box. The outside says nothing about sensory play.
